10 Upcoming Horror TV Shows That Will Scare The S**t Out Of You

An original series from Tom Moran, with Doctor Who and Sherlock Holmes legend Steven Moffat handling production, The Devil's Hour brings together the Doctor himself, Peter Capaldi, and lesser-known Jessica Raine for a brain-scratching psychological horror-thriller made in the David Fincher image.

Premiering in late October, this six-part series centres around Lucy (Raine), a woman awoken by horrific visions every morning at 3:33am -- during the so-called 'devil's hour' -- whose name is soon connected to a series of murders in the area. Capaldi plays her opposite in Gideon, a dark and disturbed nomad who becomes the subject of a police manhunt, for crimes he may or may not have committed.

It's a pleasure for all of us to see Capaldi back in action, and if The Suicide Squad, David Copperfield and, umm, Paddington have taught us anything, it's that he has the range to pull off dark and dastardly without a second thought.

Amazon Prime is not typically known as the home of original shows that are fit to scare the s**t out of you, but The Devil's Hour looks like it could be a promising start to some wonderfully terrifying things.
