10 Upcoming Movies That Would Work Way Better As TV Shows

7. Horrible Bosses 2

Horrible Bosses was one of the runaway comedy hits of 2011, as three downtrodden guys (Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis) plotted to have their bosses killed to improve their own lives. A second film is already well into production, with all involved seemingly well aware just what a genius concept the original film was. But wouldn't this make for an awesome TV series? Each episode revolves around a new character who is being constantly troubled by his boss, and then he hatches a plan to have him killed, which either works or doesn't, with hilarious and often disastrous circumstances. It'd need to be R-rated to be worth bothering with, and with the need to bring in A-list actors every week to play both the employer and employee, it'd also need a big budget, so HBO might be the place to go here. It's possible that the show could run as one continuous arc over a season, though I suspect that the build-up of waiting for the kill to happen might get a little stale, unless the boss is killed in, say, episode 7, and then the final four or five episodes are simply the protagonist trying to cover up their mess.
