10 Upcoming TV Shows That Won't Be An Easy Watch

Surely the single strangest upcoming comedy series is Netflix's Blockbuster - a sitcom that takes place in the final Blockbuster Video store still in operation.

The show comes from the writers of Superstore and Brooklyn Nine-Nine while starring the great Randall Park and Melissa Fumero, so it's certainly got every chance to succeed, even if it also seems primed to be a tough-to-watch exercise in cringe comedy.

After all, given that Netflix were themselves instrumental in Blockbuster's downfall, it's absolutely galling to see the streaming service making a comedy series about the brand's descent.

It's reasonable to expect a ton of jokes about the rise of streaming and "inferiority" of physical media rentals, which should ensure Blockbuster is one of the year's most wince-inducing comedy series.

Blockbuster premieres on Netflix on November 3.
