10 Villains We Hope To See In Daredevil: Born Again
3. Lord Dark Wind
The third season of Daredevil concluded with Bullseye having his spine shattered by Kingpin. But in the post-credits scene, we see Bullseye having steel grafted to his vertebrae by two surgeons, implying the master marksman will return.
However, this scene hints at the reveal of another villain. While conducting the operation, the surgeon on the right is referred to as "Oyama". Fans should recognise this name, since Bullseye's spine was fixed in the comics by Kenji Oyama, better known as Dark Wind.
Dark Wind was a Japanese pilot who was branded as a coward when he failed in a military mission. Desperate to prove himself worthy, he dedicated his life to creating his own super-soldier by utilising the indestructible metal, adamantium.
Because Dark Wind has ties with Kingpin, Bullseye, and The Hand, the door to the MCU is already open for him.
His introduction in Daredevil: Born Again could also give Marvel Studios the chance to implement his daughter, Yuriko Oyama AKA Lady Deathstrike. Even though Deathstrike is an enemy to Wolverine, she debuted in Daredevil, so incorporating her into the show would be a nice way to gradually introduce X-Men villains into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
