10 Walking Dead Character Deaths That Made Us Secretly Happy

The Walking Dead is so well-loved across the world that it can be difficult to criticize some of the show's most beloved characters. The series has a hardcore fanbase that goes into attack mode as soon as you say something even slightly negative. One of these sore points comes in the character of Glenn who fans seem to put on a pedestal.

Yes, gorgeous Glenn can do no wrong in the eyes of most fans even though he was actually a huge liability. Think about it? Glenn nearly died countless times, each time putting at least one other person in danger and in some cases even killing them. The whole "will he or won't he die" thing became tiresome fast and by the end of the fourth season some people stopped caring.

Also, if he hadn't have died, Maggie wouldn't have been able to progress nor would Rick and many of the other characters. His death was a great way to start a new chapter and a final goodbye to the old Walking Dead.

Sadly, we had to wait until season seven for it to actually happen and even that wasn't satisfying enough. That's not to say that it wasn't great though.
