4. Jesus
This might be controversial because Jesus was a much loved and respected character, but it's the Walking Dead and people need to die!
For some reason, fans of the shows like to think that Jesus was as holy as Jesus himself. In reality, Jesus was actually rather useless and served zero function when it came to the direction of the show's plot. Sure he looked good with his sexy beard and Jesus-like qualities but all in all, he was there for male and female viewers to fawn over and that was about it.
In fact, his character was the reason why a lot of things went wrong in the first place. For instance, it was his fault that the Survivors ended up in the Hilltop/Saviors squabble and he was also guilty of sticking by evil Gregory for a long time too.
His death was a long time coming and best of all it introduced the scariest baddies in Walking Dead history, The Whisperers.
