10 Walking Dead Characters Who Deserve Their Own Spin-Off

Some of our heroes have so much more to give...

The Walking Dead Maggie
AMC

The Walking Dead is one of the biggest shows of the past decade and it continues to rumble on. First airing in 2010, the show has released a mammoth ten seasons. Now, with one more final season to come, we'll soon be bidding a sad farewell to some of our favorite heroes. But that does not necessarily have to be the case.

The Walking Dead has had the luxury of including a long list of diverse and unique characters over its many seasons. Some have stayed longer than expected, whereas others have undeservedly bit the bullet earlier than anticipated.

Yet, the characters of The Walking Dead have proven to live on in a variety of spin-offs. Morgan and Dwight are now lead actors in the current sixth season of Fear The Walking Dead. Rick Grimes is confirmed to appear in his own trilogy of movies in the coming years, and it's been confirmed that Daryl and Carol will be getting their own series. So, with all that in consideration, let's take a look at who else deserves their own spin-off show.

10. Magna

The Walking Dead Maggie
AMC

This entry really could have gone either way between Magna and her partner, Yumiko. But Magna, played by Nadia Hilker, appears to have a more exciting, and dark past that is well worth exploring.

Prior to the apocalypse, while working as a waitress at a road-side diner, Magna was on trial for murdering her cousin's rapist. As the trial went on, Magna soon fell in love with Yumiko, her lawyer. They ultimately lost the case and Magna served time in prison, where she gained her many tattoos.

The main draw of a Magna spin-off show could explore Magna and Yumiko's relationship after the outbreak and detail their survival attempts and later merger with the group that includes Connie, Kelly and Luke.

A spin-off show could follow this group until their introduction with the Alexandria community where they currently reside. This would allow the audience to better relate to characters that were otherwise abruptly thrown in to the show after the exit of protagonist Rick Grimes.

Despite this sounding like a collective group examination, this spin-off show could also include multiple flashbacks to Magna's life before the apocalypse and focus on the events leading to her trial, her time in prison and her initial meeting with Yumiko.

Despite appearing in the show for two seasons, The Walking Dead has never fully explored Magna's character or dark past, which is something that she ultimately deserves.
