10 Walking Dead Fates Worse Than Death

Even now, just thinking of the death of Glenn Rhee puts a shiver down the spine of many long-time fans of The Walking Dead.

After months of speculation about which mainstay character Negan was going to kill off in the Season 7 premiere, The Day Will Come When You Won't Be caught us all by surprise as it shockingly offed two veterans of the show.

The death of Michael Cudlitz's Abraham Ford was jarring enough - Ford signing off by telling Negan to "suck... my... nuts" before having his face caved in by Lucille - but the demise of Glenn was even more traumatic for both the characters of The Walking Dead and the audience watching at home.

In particular, this was obviously an extremely harrowing event to witness for Glenn's pregnant wife Maggie. For Maggie, not only did she herself fear for her life as Negan played his twisted game of Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe, she then had to watch her pal Abraham bite the bullet, before then viewing her beau's brains being literally bashed in as Negan turned Glenn's head into an eye-popping pile of mush.
