10 Wasted Simpsons Characters That Deserved Better

From one super villain to another.

There are so many incredible characters that have appeared in just one episode of The Simpsons, and while the likes of Rex Banner and John became iconic, none of them are even close to the same level as Hank Scorpio.

He was charming, funny, and so wonderfully eccentric as the leader of Globex Corp, and Homer's newest friend, that he was forgiven for his terrorist acts. The James Bond villain parody is without question the greatest ever one and done Simpsons character, but why on Earth was he limited to just one appearance?!

He certainly shouldn't have been a regular in Springfield, particularly as his lair was based in Cypress Creek, but why didn't he ever hop in a helicopter and visit his pal in Springfield? Maybe he was taking some time off from being a villain, or maybe he needed Homer to decide which country to attack again, but whatever the reason, a reunion between Homer and Hank would have been amazing.

Sideshow Bob turns up every now and then to terrorise Bart, so couldn't Scorpio have made at least another appearance in The Simpsons to terrorise the world? When 'You Only Move Twice' ended, the villain had seized the East Coast, but what about the West?
