10 Ways Breaking Bad Could Continue

2. Breaking Bad: The Movie

Even before Breaking Bad's series finale aired, well before fans knew the final fate of Walter White, there was discussion of a movie that might continue or end the series. With Heisenberg's presumed on-screen death at the end of "Felina", Cranston's statements about the lack of a body bag does ring true, as in the world of fiction nobody is dead until they're buried; and even that is suspect. Though Breaking Bad does take place in a very realistic world that adheres to a certain set of rules, there's something exciting about hearing that trademark Dave Porter score ring through the speakers as "Breaking Bad" appears on the big-screen. In a post-Breaking Bad world, there are a lot of questions to consider; if Walt did happen to survive his seemingly fatal encounter with the Neo-Nazi gang that had imprisoned Jesse, then it's obvious that he is on his way to prison. He was involved in a horrific prison massacre, the death of two respected DEA agents (one being his brother-in-law, no less) and peddled meth from ABQ all the way to the Czech Republic. He's going down, hard. But if there's one thing we know about Walter White, it's that his ego will always get the best of him. For a man like Walt, enough is never enough, and he'll always feel like he could go the extra mile to gain that ever important advantage. A film that details Walt's time in jail, manipulating a series of deadly events from behind bars, is wonderfully enticing. Maybe he'll get to use an M60 with his own hands this time too, eh?
