10 Weird Early Performances By The Walking Dead Actors
5. The Substitute 2: School's Out (Lawrence Gilliard Jr)
Larry Gilliard Jr, meanwhile, is one of those aforementioned members of The Walking Dead's main cast who was previously best known for his critically-acclaimed portrayal of D'Angelo Barksdale on superior crime show The Wire. Now you probably know him as Bob Stookey, the poor unfortunate who got cobbled up by Terminus. Outside of The Wire and The Walking Dead, Gilliard mainly has a filmography that's littered with other crime dramas he's appeared in basically every network cop drama and the occasional weird thing, like the time he played a football player in Adam Sandler comedy The Waterboy. Indisputably the strangest movie on his CV, though, is straight-to-DVD action flick The Substitute 2: School's Out, about a mercenary who masquerades as a teacher in order to enter a tough urban school and wreak his revenge upon his brother's killer. And Gilliard is one of the criminal kids, obviously.
