10 Weirdest Moments In Game Of Thrones

1. Incest

The enduring weirdness of the show will be the sheer amount of incest experienced over the course of the eight seasons. People even started justifying it in certain situations towards the end when it came to aunt and nephew. The original incestuous duo however were twins Cersei and Jaime Lannister, who were caught by a little boy at the end of the very first episode.

Incest is weird, it goes without saying, and it doesn't take a lot to make an audience cringe when we're told that two siblings are having sex in front of us. The incest proved to be a huge narrative element of the show, being the core reason all the Westeros centred conflicts began.

Game of Thrones is an aforementioned serious show that takes its time developing stories and characters, and the incest between Cersei and Jaime was no different. That didn't make it any easier to stomach whenever it was on screen and certainly felt abnormal at all times.
