10 WHAT IF…? Comics Marvel Needs To Adapt For Season 2

6. What If... Kraven The Hunter Had Killed Spider-Man?

Several years ago, it seemed impossible to think of Spider-Man being able to exist inside the MCU, yet Tom Holland's Peter Parker is now one of the franchise's most popular characters. Years later, the same could be said about Spidey's rogues gallery, but with the Multiverse of Madness seemingly merging Sony and Disney's Marvel franchises together, absolutely anything can happen.

One of Spidey's greatest antagonists will be coming to the big screen over the next few years, as Aaron Taylor-Johnson will portray Kraven the Hunter. As with Tom Hardy's Venom, fans surely won't be completely satisfied until they see the character face off against Spider-Man, so why not in an episode of What If...?

Season one saw to the deaths of many MCU heroes, and Peter Parker could fall at the hands of Kraven in season two, in a universe where his last hunt was a success.

After taking Parker's life, Kraven had driven himself crazy, and began eating spiders to take on Spider-Man's powers. He then took on the Spidey suit, acting the vigilante while killing those he battled until he came toe to toe with the Human Torch, Daredevil, and Captain America, leading them to Parker's body. Karven ended up in an insane asylum, allowing this story the potential to be one of the darkest episodes of What If...? yet, which is really saying something.
