Galactica is not a show that shies away from deep questions surrounding the idea of a singular God ruling over humanity and Cylons. There is a surprisingly large mystical element to much of Battlestar Galactica, a series set in the deep blackness of space revolving around a few thousand humans surviving a robotic apocalypse.

That is why this fan theory proposes that some of the beings we see in the show - those who appear to others seemingly out of nowhere - may in fact be angels sent by the big man upstairs to guide the two most dominant lifeforms in the galaxy.

This theory proposes that the Caprica Six we see stalking Gaius, and in turn, the Gaius we see stalking Caprica Six, may in fact be angels sent to direct the two heads of their respective civilizations towards finding Earth.

This could explain how Six appears and disappears to Gaius with no one else seeing her, and why she has knowledge of things that Gaius does not, like the Cylon transponder device on the bridge that nobody else notices. This is also why at the end of Battlestar Galactica, we see Gaius and Six just wandering around our modern Earth, talking in deep metaphors about how we're going to destroy ourselves with technology again.

Of course, this theory also includes Starbuck as yet another angel sent by God herself to lead humanity towards the promised land/planet Earth, our Earth since they do find their Earth but it's a nuclear hellscape after those humans created Cylons.
