10 Worst Admirals In Star Trek
7. Mark Jameson - Too Short A Season
Admiral Mark Jameson is remembered here for breaking the Prime Directive some forty years before he appeared in Too Short A Season. As part of hostage negotiations with Karnas, he supplied weapons to one side of a planet's territorial struggle, before covertly supplying the other side as well - believing this would balance the scales.
It didn't.
Years later, he is lured back to the planet, though his own hubris saw him aging in reverse, with his body shutting down, seemingly without stopping. His eventual death marked the final note of a sad story - one that saw bloodshed and revenge, decades of war, and a search for revenge that threatened to claim many more lives.
Jameson was one of the earliest Badmirals to appear in Star Trek, though technically the very crime that saw his eventual downfall had been, at least in part, committed almost a century earlier by another very famous captain in Starfleet - one who may appear a little later in this list.
