10 Worst Brooklyn Nine-Nine Episodes
6. He Said She Said (Season 6 Episode 8)
The Brooklyn 99 writers shine a light on the MeToo movement with this episode when a businesswoman is sexually assaulted at her place of work. Driven by her own personal experience, Amy is determined to bring about justice much to some resistance from her colleagues.
What sucks: Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that the writers of Brooklyn 99 decided to write an episode about this issue and they go about it in a very responsible way. It's interesting that they shone a light on the fear the victim felt in that, even if she wins the court case, her professional career could be ruined. What sucks however, is in the same season and in all the seasons leading up to it, Gina frequently sexually harasses Terry by commenting on his body and touching his muscles. Once again, I'm not saying the episode was a bad idea, I'm just saying it highlighted the inconsistencies of Brooklyn 99's moral code.
What didn't suck: The whole Holt storyline about his old nemesis The Disco Strangler allegedly escaping prison despite him being a 90 year old man.
