10 Worst Doctor Who Episodes According To YOU

A large portion of fans questioned how The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos could've possibly been the best script available for Jodie Whittaker's first finale. It therefore made a lot of sense when Chris Chibnall revealed that, due to time constraints, the version put to screen was in fact the first draft.

It's not unknown for a series finale to be polarising (hello Hell Bent and The Timeless Children), but the Battle of Roastbeef Av Kofte is guilty of far worse. Aside from having the worst title in the show’s history, it also feels like a filler episode – somehow moreso than any other episode in Series 11, a series that has no shortage of them.

This was what we were building up to for ten weeks?! It's like counting down to a holiday and realising it's actually a dentist appointment.

The episode tries to have stakes by teasing the origins of Evil Graham, but rather than seek revenge, he dooms his nemesis to an eternity paralysed in a single spot, completely conscious the entire time, just like all the good guys do. Also, planet Earth is apparently in grave danger, but it never feels like it, as we never see anything from Earth's perspective. We're instead meant to feel the peril while an Earth-coloured bowling ball gets thrown about a bit.

No arguments with this one – a deserved low ranking.
