10 Worst Doctor Who Prosthetics Ever

Since 1963, we’ve happily suspended our disbelief to enjoy a show about an alien gallivanting through time and space helping people wherever they land. Yes, there has been the occasional wobbly set and plenty of badly aged CGI, but that didn’t matter because the stories grabbed you.

The monster of the week can turn an otherwise bland episode into a thrilling run for survival. The Daleks, for example, have had this presence since their debut. The Cybermen are another case of this; even their early design that showed some very human hands actually worked with their character as they had not fully upgraded themselves yet.

However, as you will see in this list, sometimes the prosthetics for these creatures can be so bad as to almost ruin a perfectly good episode. Also, CGI catastrophes will not be included here so Lazarus can breathe a sigh of relief.
