10 Worst Friends Characters Who Appeared After Season 1

Amy may have the reputation as the mean sister, but Jill was by far the more malevolent of the pair.

Jill's appearance on the show mirrored her sister Rachel's arc in the Pilot episode - a spoiled socialite struggling to take care of herself. They even share the same shopping-related setback, where they both spend money they no longer have on clothes.

However, when Rachel's friends call her out on her behaviour, she acknowledges her mistake and cuts her credit cards. When Rachel calls her sister out, Jill responds by... trying to seduce Ross out of spite.

Hopefully we don't need to point out that sleeping with someone, purely to piss off someone else, isn't emotionally healthy behaviour. Even worse, when Rachel warns Ross that Jill uses sex as a weapon, it implies that this isn't even the first time Jill has done something like this.

And to top it all off, she rounds off her time on the show with some playground-level homophobia, asking Ross "How gay are you?" after he rebuffs her advances.

You stay classy, Jill.
