10 Worst Friends Episodes

Ross may be a loveable guy, but he's also tough to follow sometimes, thanks to how accidentally creepy and uptight he can be. That's what makes this one such a difficult episode to watch, as his antics go a little too far, and it steps into uncomfortable territory. Plus, both side stories come with just as much cringe and awkwardness.

In this episode, Ross freaks out after his girlfriend (Mona) wants to send pictures of them as a holiday card. To avoid having "the relationship talk", he makes a romantic gesture, which eventually spirals into a fake confession of love. Alongside this, Chandler gets taken on a raunchy night out with his boss after falsely claiming he and Monica broke up, and Phoebe brings a random guy to Rachel to quench her pregnancy lusting.

Watching people fail at relationships was a tried and tested method for success in Friends, but this one went too far. In each storyline, the character's lies and poorly thought-out plans came across as unsettling and easily avoidable, which caused the episode to be aggravating rather than funny.

There's a few too many leaps of logic in this one that make it seem forced and unnecessary.
