10 Worst Simpsons Episodes From The Best Seasons

For the most part, The Simpsons had a smart way of producing clip shows. The season four episode “So, it’s come to this: A clip show” at least had an actual storyline worked into it, where Bart’s April fools prank goes horribly wrong and sends Homer into a temporary coma.

Meanwhile, “The Simpsons 138th Episode Spectacular” was engaging because it showed content which most fans hadn’t seen below, such as the alternative characters who shot Mr Burns.

But Another Simpsons Clip Show is just sheer laziness and an example of what’s so wrong about doing “best of” episodes.

The set up is weak – Marge tries to get the family to reminisce about the romances in their life and all it really does is cause a dampener on everyone’s mood. The segments used go on for too long, the plotting is clumpy and broken up, and it simply makes for an uninteresting viewing.
