10 Worst Things Krusty The Clown Has Ever Done

Krusty the Clown is without question one of The Simpsons' greatest characters. Like the very best of them, he's an epic sad sack with an even more epic origin story, as was brilliantly built-up and expanded upon throughout the show's better seasons.

But it's no secret that Krusty isn't what you'd call a "good person." Of all the major Simpsons characters, save perhaps for Mr. Burns and maybe Sideshow Bob, he's surely committed the greatest number of morally dubious, highly questionable acts.

From his shady financial dealings to having zero concern for the impressionable young children his show caters to, to womanising his way across the U.S. and even literally getting people killed, there's nearly no limit to Krusty's depravity.

But he's also not beyond being hoist by his own petard, for as much as Krusty has inflicted needless suffering on others, he's also frequently proven to be his worst enemy, which might be sad were Krusty not so rarely worthy of our sympathy.

Sure, he (accidentally) helped Nelson Mandela be set free from prison, but does that really compensate for, well, all this?
