Episode: "Krusty Gets Cancelled" (Season 4, Episode 22)

The Krusty the Clown Show faces stiff competition from Gabbo, a show focused on a ventriloquist's dummy, which not only steals away Krusty's audience, but also the rights to air The Itchy & Scratchy Show.

In desperation, Krusty attempts to incorporate some ventriloquist shtick into his show, introducing audiences to Alphonse, a hideous and tawdry-looking dummy whose jaw breaks off within seconds of Krusty operating him for the first time.

In an attempt to calm his horrified child audience, Krusty tells them, "That dummy can't hurt ya. He's not even alive, he's dead", after which he knocks on Alphonse's head and immediately breaks a huge hole in its skull.

And because the kids aren't quite upset enough yet, he then kicks Alphonse into the audience in frustration, as the children scream and stare on at his mutilated corpse.

Way to traumatise an entire generation of youngsters right there, Krust.
