9. Hitting On A Dead Agent's Wife At His Funeral
It's no secret that Archer has been with a lot of women, like a lot a lot, which is surprising considering how he treats most if not all of them. After all, he regularly threw Cheryl's clothes off his penthouse balcony, insisted Pam not tell anyone he and her were hooking up, and (among many other things) regularly cheated on Lana.
It’s fair to say that all of this is a long way from great or gentlemanly. But what's even worse is that Sterling Archer, ladies’ man and international covert operative, got hammered at a colleague’s funeral and then proceeded to hit on his recently widowed and still crying wife.
It's definitely not one of Sterling's finest moments, in fact it’s the opposite, which is why it’s on this list.
While being consoled by Malory, Archer walks up behind the weeping widow, whose dead husband is actually on the table behind them, and proudly shouts; "allow me to be the first to welcome you back into the dating pool!"
He then proceeds to do, what we can only assume to be a very whisky-heavy burp, in the woman's face, which he then follows up with an additional invitation to go in his new hot tub.
It’s clear then that, as well as not always being as cool and suave as he thinks he is with the ladies, Sterling Malory Archer has a terribly inappropriate sense of timing, which can make him look like a real d*ck.
