10 Worst TV Shows Of 2016

6. Flaked

Lucifer TV Series
Netflix

Dammit, Will Arnett. Flaked was supposed to be incredible. I mean, who doesn't want to see Gob Bluth from Arrested Development in his very own show? Especially when Mitch Hurwitz is an executive producer.

The show - which was created for Netflix - tells the story of a self-help guru named Chip who lives in Venice, Los Angeles. Throughout each episode we follow Chip as he desperately attempts to keep a hold of his life. He's struggling to stay in business, struggling with alcoholic tendencies and struggling to woo a woman named London.

Flaked's biggest crime, however, is that it takes itself desperately seriously. And not only does it take itself seriously, but it thinks it's being deep and profound in the process. Rather, it's melodramatic and bland. Beyond the pilot, which gets by on the viewer's curiosity alone, each episode feels like an aimless slog.
