10 Worst Uses Of CGI In Anime History

6. Golgo 13

berserk anime
TMS Entertainment

There is a vast multitude of things wrong with Golgo 13: The Professional, to the point where making fun of a sequence that hyper-focuses on shoddy late 80s CGI helicopters that feels a good 10 minutes longer than it actually is feels like missing the forest for the trees.

That being said, good lord this is bad.

A common theme you'll find with every entry on this list is that it isn't just the quality of the CG itself, but how long the show or movie just lingers on it, as if convinced that they've done a great job here and you're really gonna be impressed.

However, even for the time, CG was being used to greater effect in other anime like Magnetic Rose.

The fact that the scene goes on for as long as it does, dragging on to the point of feeling longer than it actually is, is what puts it where it is on the list. And yet it's nowhere as egregious as the entries to come.
