10 Worst Uses Of CGI In Anime History

2. Berserk (2016)

What more can be said about Berserk 2016? It is easily one of the most infamous anime made in the past few decades, just based on its animation alone.

Story-wise, it's perfectly fine, being the first proper adaptation of the late great Kentaro Miura's fantasy masterpiece that wants to actually adapt PAST its most famous arc.

But what makes the show live in infamy is its appallingly bad CGI animations. If you know even the first thing about how CGI works, Berserk 2016 is more horrifying than half the stuff the Eclipse has to offer.

It's pretty rare these days to find a show with such bad animation that, to simulate walking, they just lift the character model up and down while he's moving forward. That's stuff that hasn't been done since 70s Hannah Barbera, but is common practice in Berserk 2016.

Miura deserved so much better in a lot of things for a lot of reasons, and this show is definitely high on that list.
