11 Biggest Problems With The Chris Chibnall Doctor Who Era

1. The Low Quality Of Individual Episodes

Be honest. When you look back on the Chibnall era so far, which episodes will stick in your mind as genuinely awesome ones? To be frank, if that number exceeds three or four at the very most, that's a huge shock.

As aforementioned, Series 11 was absolutely terrible, and the only episode which could exceeded the three-star level was Rosa. Series 12 was better in fairness, as Fugitive of the Judoon, The Haunting of Villa Diodati, and Ascension of the Cybermen were good episodes, with Nikola Tesla's Night of Terror being semi-decent, but none of those episodes will exactly go down in Doctor Who history.

As for The Timeless Children, there were good parts throughout that episode, but it's hard to look back on it with any fondness due to the awful Timeless Child twist, and too many plot holes.

Additionally, the opening two-parter Spyfall was mediocre, Praxeus and Can You Hear Me? were both very weak, and Orphan 55 is one of the worst episodes of NuWho to date.

As a whole, the worst thing about this run of Doctor Who is that it literally hasn't delivered a single great episode. Let's hope things improve with Revolution of the Daleks and Series 13, but it's looking unlikely.
