10. The Big Belarus Theory

As far as fans are concerned, there's only one Big Bang Theory. What they might not know is that for a short while, there were two. A show titled The Theorists, featuring four scientists known as Sheldon, Leo, Hovart and Raj (and a blonde waitress living next door called Natasha), aired briefly in Belarus - until the show was outed as a copy. Subsequently, production was pulled. Actor Dmitriy Tankovich, who played 'Leo', stated that his part in the whole fiasco was 'the rock bottom of career.' You might think that the names and concept are enough of a rip off, but this bold imitation didn't end there. Not only are the show's opening credits made up of a montage that closely mimics the original, but the clips available for viewing seem to mirror TBBT's plots rather closely.
