11 Iconic TV Shows That Should NEVER Be Revived

1. The Netflix Marvel Shows

For a time, the Netflix Marvel shows were heralded as some of the best material the company had produced.

However, just as quickly as they shot to success, they came crashing down. The issues started with Iron Fist, but they quickly infected the other characters like Luke Cage, while even big hitters like Jessica Jones, who arguably had the strongest season of any of the heroes, couldn't sustain the quality in subsequent years.

Then, in late 2018 and into the current year, fans could do nothing but watch as Netflix brought the guillotine down on each one. One by one the shows were cancelled, presumably because of Disney's own streaming service being primed to launch.

Despite their problems, fans were vocal about wanting more from these characters - especially because the likes of Daredevil and Jessica Jones were so perfectly cast - but it will result in better shows if they remain retired.

Sure, it would be good if the actors return, but the properties are better off in Disney's own hands. Not only is the TV universe now overseen by Kevin Feige, but Disney has more resources and is better suited to delivering higher-quality and shorter seasons of shows.

The rot had already set in, and a full creative reboot will be better in the long run than trying to salvage a sinking ship.
