11 Iconic TV Shows That Should NEVER Be Revived

The Inbetweeners was the kind of runaway success that only happens a couple of times a decade on British TV. The sitcom, about four lads and the trials and tribulations of Sixth Form (High School to you Americans) started with humble beginnings, with its first season enjoying modest ratings.

Once the second run dropped, word of mouth had caught up, and suddenly The Inbetweeners had become the most talked about TV show in Britain, smashing it in terms of audience figures and riding out into the sunset with the third and final season.

It didn't stop there though, as a movie was quickly announced, which went on to break box-office records. Despite claims that the writers were done, a sequel followed a few years later and enjoyed similar success with critics and audiences.

Because the writers have gone back on their word a few times, speculation surrounding a fourth series or third movie has never slowed down, but The Inbetweeners has already pushed its luck as far as it can go.

It perfectly captured a period before entering adulthood, and seeing these characters holding jobs and families while still being the big idiots they are would just come across a little... sad.
