11 Iconic TV Shows That Should NEVER Be Revived

4. The Office

The Office is one of the few shows to survive losing its main character. While Steve Carell's Michael Scott acted as a huge draw, it's a testament to how good the ensemble cast was that the series managed to continue - and be just as enjoyable - when he left.

Eventually it did come to an end though, with the in-universe documentary of The Office also releasing, but that hasn't stopped NBC talking up the possibility of bringing the show back one way or another.

A full reboot would be more hassle than it's worth though. The original struck gold with its casting, and a reboot would doom itself either by trying to recast characters, or push a new set that would inevitably be compared to the originals.

Likewise, it would be immensely difficult to get the familiar cast to return - hell, it was hard enough to lock them all down in the final seasons of the original show.

Plus, the series is immensely rewatchable as is. Why add more episodes to the pile when people are more than content with rewatching the 201 that already exist until they die?
