2. Jessica Jones Season 2

Of all the Marvel heroes to have received a Netflix series, Jessica Jones has had to wait the longest for a second season. With the follow-up now nearing release however, it's fair to say that excitement levels are pretty high.
And why shouldn't they be? The show's first season was immaculate, and James Hunt's personal favourite Netflix Marvel series (no small accolade, I can tell you that). Krysten Ritter was phenomenal in the lead role, David Tennant was suitably terrifying as Killgrave, and it was one of the most atmospheric offerings the MCU has seen yet. The following shows were always going to have a lot to live up to then, and while none of them have quite managed to reach the heights Jessica and Luke did back in that original season, they're returning this March to set things straight.
We don't know who the villain is yet, but with David Tennant returning for a guest role, it looks as though the Purple Man isn't quite done with Jessica yet. Whether or not he's alive is another question in itself, but no one could possibly say no to having more Tennant in the MCU.

In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir.
