If the Doctor and Sherlock somehow found themselves trapped in the same room, the resulting seismic brain waves would raise the IQ of the entire street. The Doctor and Sherlock often take refuge in their seclusive mind palaces, to shelter themselves from the disgracing world of fascinatingly ordinary human beings. Everyone else seems to be unbearably thick, impossibly confused by the simplest concepts. When a hostile alien species slips into the unseen corners of your peripheral vision, the Doctor never misses its fleeting presence. The slightest bit of evidence is always registered by the keen eyes of Sherlock Holmes. Rambling away while their companions' heads nod uncomprehendingly, the euphoric realisations of these ingenious minds are only met with a deadpan stare. Too many timey-wimey words, Doctor, and too much deducing too quickly, Sherlock. Who would win such a heated battle of wits? Who would lose their claim to being the cleverest, most pretentious prig in the room? Perhaps the universe will never know... What did you think of this list? Anna is an aspiring writer who has an incurable obsession with Doctor Who. When she is not writing about Doctor Who, she's watching favorite episodes and contemplating what to write next. When she's writing about Doctor Who, she anticipates her reward: watching yet another Doctor Who episode. She also manages to read science fiction (especially Ray Bradbury), recite lines from Shakespeare's Macbeth, and make terrible puns in her free time (she likes to imagine she has great puntential, though)
