Most people hate spoilers. When there's a major event about to go down, the last thing you want is to know about it in advance. The Walking Dead is the sort of twist-heavy, shock-filled series that can be particularly spoiled, but that's what happened with the death of Beth.

In this case, however, it wasn't just a headline or some random on Twitter giving the game away, but AMC and The Walking Dead themselves.

The show's Facebook page posted the above photo, along with the caption RIP Beth, after the mid-season 5 finale, Coda, had aired on the East Coast - but before it'd been on the West Coast, while many others around the world hadn't seen it yet either.

I mean, the image alone would've been bad enough, but that caption too... AMC quickly pulled the post, and issued an apology, while also receiving over 100,000 comments complaining about the spoiler.
