2. Raised By Wolves
Touted by critics as the show that could put HBO Max on the map, Raised By Wolves enjoyed a thoroughly successful first season that presented the show as one of the most thought-provoking science fiction tales of our generation. We'd expect nothing less from the great Ridley Scott and yet, our expectations were exceeded as the show is one of the most ambitious and immersive in recent memory.
Its unique premise - which sees two androids, Mother and Father, attempt to raise human children on a different planet after Earth was obliterated by a great war - thrilled viewers and made for some impressive visuals, but in and among all the violence and explosions, there is a story there with real heart.
Needless to say, it wasn't a surprise when the new streamer renewed Raised By Wolves for a well-deserved follow-up.
