12 Best Justice League Episodes
6. Wildcards
A truly memorable two-parter in the original series, Wildcards sees the Justice League go up against the Joker and his newly acquired team of super-powered teenagers, in a high stakes mission that sees the League move from one bomb to another while having to face off with powerful foes. It's exciting, entertaining, heartfelt, and showcases the Joker at his best, both absolutely hilarious and terrifyingly threatening.
This set of episodes was special in that the entire League got involved as a team, each showing their strengths while tackling the same problem. The relationships which make these characters so compelling are presented as well, the most memorable of which was the blossoming romance between Hawkgirl and Green Lantern finally coming to a head.
In this two-parter, the showrunners also introduced Ace, a troubled, terrifying young girl able to bend reality with her mind, an unbeatable foe that Batman cleverly finds a way around.
Though not as politically charged as the series tended to be on a regular basis, this episode was Justice League's storytelling at its best, with tight pacing, excellent action, and satisfying character resolutions that make it endlessly rewatchable.
