12 Best MCU Disney+ Episodes So Far (According To IMDb)
11. For All Time. Always. (Loki - Ep 6) - 8.7
Over the course of Marvel’s first five Disney+ series, a certain theme has presented itself in that fans have typically found themselves underwhelmed by the finales. Though this still earned a strong 8.7 on IMDb, it is one of the lowest-rated of the series, and the only one of the five finales that made it to this list.
The episode itself opens with a stunning visual of the Sacred Timeline, and of the potential for other universes that ultimately branch out by the end of the episode, to the background of some of the biggest and most recognizable voices, not only in the MCU, but in the real world, too.
After a tense walk through the Citadel at the End of Time, Loki and Sylvie are finally introduced to He Who Remains, the man who would make this episode so gripping. Jonathan Majors’ performance was so compelling it not only made this episode great, it got fans more excited than ever for his return as Kang the Conqueror in 2023.
Fans could listen to these three talk all day, but all good things must come to an end, and what an ending. The death of He Who Remains, the downfall of the Sacred Timeline, Loki ending up on a different timeline., and even seeing Renslayer in her life before the TVA was jarring enough to truly bring down He Who Remains’ illusion and set the scene for season two.
