12 Cartoons You Definitely Watched In The 90s

10. Street Sharks

Staying with the shark theme, Street Sharks was another 90€™s animated series that only got a forty episode run. Ripster, Jab, Streex and Slammu are the four fish out of water; massive, muscular, humanoid sharks that are the result of a machine called the €˜gene-slammer€™. Although only on TV from €™94 to €™95, Street Sharks are a fiery foursome you won€™t forget. An action/ comedy cartoon, the oversized sharks had to pit their wits against an array of amphibious enemies. Teenagers at heart, what the Sharks lack in brains they make up for in brawn €“ a trait that provides thoroughly entertaining animation. Not satisfied with their own show, the four fish-heads also cross over into Extreme Dinosaurs, another 90€™s monster mutation animation. The Dinosaurs had appeared in Street Sharks to begin with as the Dino Vengers, before the Sharks shot over to the spin-off.
