8. Cinderella
Cinderella was one of the first characters to ever get a flashback episode, getting her chance to shine near the beginning of the series. Long story short, after managing to temporarily sneak out of a bargain with Rumplestiltskin, who wanted her first born child, the curse hit and she was trapped with everyone else in Storybrooke as Ashley Boyd, perpetually pregnant until Emma Swan arrived. Looking to collect on the debt owed to him, Mr. Gold attempted to obtain her baby when she unexpectedly went into labor until Emma was able to free her from it. And that was that. Outside of a small appearance several episodes later and an even smaller appearance in the opening moments of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, both Cinderella and Ashley have been missing ever since from past and present, respectively. The series has never really tackled what Rumplestiltskin wanted with her baby and, for those still looking for an answer to that question three seasons in, it doesnt seem that one is ever coming.
