7./6. Hansel & Gretel
Like Cinderella, the brother/sister duo of Hansel and Gretel were the focus of an early season one episode. After their father goes missing, the two bump into Regina, who convinces them that she will help them find their father if they can steal a poison apple from the Blind Witch. After succeeding, Regina offers them a chance to live with her, which they decline, leading her to make sure they and their father will never find each other again until Emma later reunites them all in Storybrooke. Despite the fact an entire episode focused on the characters, they are never heard from or mentioned ever again. While its understandable that they werent and arent relevant to the overall narrative as much as simply teaching Emma one of her many early lessons about parenthood, the fact that they and their father, for that matter havent popped up if even for a catch-up cameo makes one wonder if it was worth spending time with them in the first place.
