11. Doctor Who Character Building 11 Doctors set
If you don't know what this is, you are about to have your mind blown. It is Doctor Who Lego! Although not technically Lego, it is completely compatible with Lego. You can cross over with Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, any Lego Universe can now have the Doctor pay a visit. If you honestly don't care about playing with Lego then I regret to inform you that you have grown up. But that's OK, this box has all 11 incarnations of the Doctor, beautifully presented for the 50th, in condensed miniaturized and stylized form. Unlike Lego, each figurine has an individual head sculpt so each little figure oozes character. Sure, the First and Second Doctors appear to have had a personality swap and the Fifth Doctor looks a bit like a cat, but that doesn't detract from how brilliant this little set is. Not just comprehensive, with bios of each Doctor on the inside of the TARDIS doors but also economical. It hardly takes up any space and looks just as good out of the box as each figure comes not only with a mini stand but also a sonic screwdriver or other accessory to pose with. The box itself is covered in a chrome silver TARDIS print to commemorate the anniversary but also you can open it and remove its contents and slip it back in if the temptation to play with them gets the better of you, all due to the fact there is no blister packaging or annoying twisty ties to find months after. Another great part of this set is that it costs only £20. These are going to be popular. Hold on to this one. If you're not feeling that extravagant, you can buy blind packed (soon to be replaced with clear display cubes) 50th Anniversary Doctor figures for £1.99 each in most shops. Look out for them at the checkouts.
