7. Fob Watch
This has to be one of my favourite items on this list simply because it is a thing of beauty and sophistication. This has been released a couple of times before, firstly as a limited edition of 1000 signed by Derek Jacobi (who played the Master, disguised as Professor Yana in 'Utopia'), which I am lucky to own and then again as a basic unsigned unnumbered run for a smaller cost, probably due to the high demand of the product and I'm not surprised. How is this different? Well, the watch has been reissued this time with brand new artwork inside with instead of numerals, features the Doctor's silhouettes at their numbered intervals. This works both as a display piece as well as decoration. Like the stamps it will be a thing to be treasured, but take my advice, if you want to wear it, save it for special occasions as unfortunately the watch is quite delicate. On my own watch, the pin that allows you to change the time and open the watch sheared off in such a way it is impossible to repair, which was a great disappointment and now resides in its original box. This however would be a worthy variation to justify buying a new one. Only this time I'll be a lot more careful. If you're buying for kids, definitely keep in the box, if they do want to have a play, there was a cheaper, plastic, toy version available a few years back that you may still be able to pick up.
