10. The Transuding Furies
The Transunding Furies were a trio of powerful mystical women who resided in Los Angeles. They appeared twice in season 3 of Angel in the episodes "That Old Gang of Mine" and "Offspring". They were the powerful beings who were responsible for casting the anti-demon-violence spell on Lorne's bar, Caritas. When Angel needed the spell removing in order to fight Charles Gunn's rogue former gang (who had taken the bar hostage due to the fact that the spell did not negate human violence), the Furies told Cordelia Chase that they would require "payment" for such an act and that only Angel was "equipped" to repay the debt, implying a past sexual relationship between the Furies and Angel. The three Furies spoke in a linked manner, speaking one word each as if they were one person. They only ever spoke at the same time when they were referring to Angel, at which point they would all say "mmmmmmm, Angel!".
