4.Getting Melissa's Read On Those Pants
Ending his marriage with Carol seems like it isn't going to happen but Phil hasn't given up hope on being with Melissa. Inspired by one of Carol's comments about how important it is to have as many babies as possible, Phil begins scheming. If having as many babies as possible is the best thing for humanity, Phil figures that he should be impregnating both women at the same time. It might be unlikely to get both women on board but he's going to give it a shot. Knocking on Melissa's front door, he starts up a conversation with her that takes some odd twists and turns. He asks her if his white pants are acceptable to be worn after Labor Day. Unnaturally, he takes the conversation to the contributions to society by Rosa Parks. He caps off this devious conversation with this go-home summary..."So would it be safe to say that leaving this conversation I would not be crazy to describe you as an open-minded person who believes in change and is generally in favor of repopulation?" Clever, Phil.
