There aren't many cases that Leslie Knope doesn't crack, partly because loose threads are enough to send her life into a total spiral and have her cutting down her regular three-and-a-half hours sleep to zero, but the person responsible for growing marijuana in the community garden in Season 2's The Stakeout is one of the few people to slip through her fingers.

Throughout the episode, Leslie and Tom camp out and carry out surveillance on the garden to catch the culprit red-handed, but after a bunch of misunderstandings and shenanigans the two come up short, and the mystery is left unanswered.

That is, until 18 episodes later, where the pot lover is finally, indirectly, caught. Season 2's Summer Catalogue focuses on Leslie organising a reunion with the past four Parks Directors, including Ron, all of whom end up disappointing her. In that group is Michael Tansley, a huge advocate of not-cigarettes who admits to growing marijuana in various community gardens.

The comment isn't focused on, but it gets a quick reaction from Leslie who's finally found her man.
