9. Family Guy

Family Guy has been cancelled before and it wasn't a great decision back then, but now we'd welcome it with open arms. Ratings have been in decline for a few years now but it remains one of Fox's most popular shows, despite the growing staleness of its jokes. The cut-away gags are no longer as surprising and amusing as they once were, and the show's characters (particularly Stewie) are almost unrecognisable nowadays. The decision to keep Family Guy on the air is even more incomprehensible when the network had already improved on the Seth MacFarlane animated sitcom template with the enjoyable American Dad!, but has now let it go to TBS. Family Guy has a place in the adult animation hall of fame, so why not let it go now before it just gets embarrassing?
