10. Nebula-class
Key Appearances: Emissary, The Changing Face of Evil, What You Leave Behind, Star Trek: First Contact Essentially a more compact version of the Galaxy-class, The Nebula-class was one of the most powerful ships in starfleet's arsenal and played a key role in the Dominions War. The Nebula-class proved a worthy combatant against many of the most powerful ships in the quadrant although it was slightly overmatched by some, such as the Romulan warbird and the Dominion's larger ships. The Nebula-class was featured prominently in Deep Space Nine as it helped spearhead the defense against the Dominion but the ship also made an appearance in four episodes of Next Generation and Voyager as well as in the film First Contact where they participated in the battle against the Borg Cube. The Nebula-class compact design and similarities to the Galaxy-class make it one of Star Trek's most memorable minor starships.
