13 Awful TV Shows Star Trek Actors Want Us To Forget

4. Denise Crosby - Red Shoe Diaries

Beloved amongst the fandom for her role as both Tasha Yar and later Yar’s daughter in The Next Generation, Denise Crosby has more than reciprocated said love in the form of Trekkies, a pair of documentaries she produced focussing affectionately on the strange phenomenon of Star Trek fandom.

However the actor’s career wasn’t always this illustrious—like so many nineties TV heroes, she made an early appearance on HBO’s once-edgy, now unfortunately pretty cringey Red Shoe Diaries, an anthology which attempted to do for softcore porn what Tales from the Crypt did for horror—if you can imagine such a thing.

Still, at least this one was pretty popular as far embarrassing roles go—the show even had David Duchovny narrating!
