13 Most Memorable Doctor Who Guest Stars

9. James Corden in €˜The Lodger€™ and €˜Closing Time€™

Sometimes seeing a certain actor in a certain place just puts you in a good mood, and Smithy just has that down. I don€™t really know what else to say about him. He€™s just so comfortably sweet and normal and at the same time so funny and so totally out of his mind (see €˜Lesbian Vampire Killers€™ if you don€™t know what I€™m talking about) it€™s hard not to put him in absolutely everything on British TV. Sometimes that€™s a good thing as in the case of €˜The Lodger€™ and sometimes that€™s a very, very, very bad thing. Yeah, I€™ll just come right out and say it €“ I didn€™t care for €˜Closing Time€™. Maybe it was because it was the Cybermen€™s least threatening/memorable appearance yet, but it did kind of suck. But whatever. It had James Corden with a son named Stormageddon, both being so maddeningly sweet and charming it€™s hard not to like them. Even if you didn€™t like the ep, at the end you can turn around and say, €˜Hey, remember when Jimmy Corden was in Doctor Who? Yeah, he€™s cool.€™

I got bored one day, so I decided to write things on the Internet.
